The war of words between the BJP, BRS, and Congress continues. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated at a public meeting in Induru that KCR had asked to join the NDA, but Modi refused. Prakash Javadekar, a BJP leader, said that Modi’s statement debunked the secret pact between BRS and BJP.
Javadekar mentioned that anyone can verify the meeting between KCR and the PM before the GHMC elections. The BRS claimed credit for the sanction of the Turmeric Board, Tribal University, and the finalization of the terms of reference for Krishna Water Dispute Tribunal-II. T Harish Rao criticized the Centre for ignoring these issues until now.
Revanth Reddy, the Congress party president in Telangana, stated that Modi’s revelation was part of a tacit understanding between BJP and BRS. He believes that the true nature of BJP and BRS will be exposed after the elections.
Javadekar reiterated that BJP would never have any alliance with BRS and accused them of being two sides of the same coin. He condemned KTR’s remarks for calling the Prime Minister a liar and stated that BRS is desperate. Javadekar emphasized that BJP is fighting against BRS for the people of Telangana.
In conclusion, Javadekar called on BRS to answer for their alleged corruption and exploitation of the state’s resources.
