India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, has warned Khalistani separatists that India will not tolerate its national flag being pulled down. He sent a strong message to the group after they vandalised Indian diplomatic buildings in London and San Francisco. The separatists have also defaced statues of Mahatma Gandhi in Canada and vandalised temples in Australia. Jaishankar made his comments during an interaction with intellectuals in Dharwad and emphasised that India is not the same as it was in the past and will no longer accept such incidents. He also warned that if there are further incidents of this nature, India will give a stern reply.
