    Dr. Mende Srinivas, a talented innovator from Raghavapet in Jagtial district, was honored by Tripura Governor N. Indrasena Reddy at an event in Hyderabad on Friday. Dr. Srinivas was recognized for his remarkable creation, the MS Nirati Robot, during a ceremony held at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).

    The Governor praised Dr. Srinivas, who has a background in commerce, for his outstanding achievement in developing the MS Nirati Robot. Despite not having a formal education in science, Srinivas has excelled in various fields. His invention is expected to significantly benefit both farmers and the government. Many have described his accomplishment as nothing short of miraculous.

    The event where Dr. Srinivas was felicitated was part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the VNCC Golden Jubilee at JNTU Arts University in Hyderabad. The function was attended by dignitaries such as Karnataka Vice Chancellor Battu Satyanarayana, Principal Dr. K.V. Ramana Murthy, and others.

    Dr. Srinivas expressed his gratitude for the recognition, calling it a rare and special opportunity. He emphasized that focusing on solving problems can lead to innovation, and contributing to society brings an indescribable sense of fulfillment. He also highlighted that the Nirati Robot is not only beneficial for agriculture but can also be used as a timer to control household and industrial motors. Dr. Srinivas urged everyone to support efforts to save farmers, conserve water, and use electricity efficiently.
