Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy releases IT raids
Dubbak, June 14: “I have not been involved in any corruption or illegal activities in my business,” said Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, the newly elected MP from Medak. On Wednesday, Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy clarified that he was not involved in any illegal activities during a press meet held in Siddipet district. On Wednesday, Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy held discussions with IT officials at his residence in Hyderabad. During that time, Prabhakar Reddy clarified to the IT officials that he had only made a phone call to inquire about the IT raids conducted at his residence in Dubbak.
Although he was not in Hyderabad, his family members fully cooperated with the IT officials. He mentioned that he has been involved in business since 1986 and has been filing income tax returns since then. He explained that he does not engage in any illegal business and that he is involved in only one transport business. He provided complete evidence related to his legitimate transactions and clarified that all his financial statements are accurate. He also stated that no evidence of any illegal activities was found during the IT raids conducted at his residence.
Prabhakar Reddy questioned the media’s coverage of the IT raids on television channels. He criticized them for portraying the broadcasts in a sensationalized manner. He also mentioned that the IT raids were conducted on the instructions of some BJP leaders before the elections.
