Telangana has shown significant progress in various sectors, according to IT and MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao. During the inauguration of the Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC), District Police Office, and double bedroom houses in Bhupalpally, KTR stated that Telangana is ranked first in per capita income in the country.
KTR emphasized the need for people to understand the advancements made by Telangana since 2014. He highlighted the transformation from severe power shortage to uninterrupted power supply and the conversion of barren lands into fertile tracts. KTR attributed this massive development to the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who prioritized both welfare and development. He also mentioned that the KCR Government has provided Rs 73,000 crore to farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.
Addressing the spread of misinformation about power supply by Congress leaders, KTR criticized them and highlighted Telangana as the only state in the country that offers Aasara pensions. He also mentioned that a new district with Bhupalpally as its headquarters was established, and a medical college was built in the previously backward Bhupalpally.
Bhupalpally MLA Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy commended the irrigation facilities that have boosted agriculture in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. He requested KTR to establish an IT Tower and industries in the district and predicted 100 seats for the BRS in the upcoming elections.
Various dignitaries, including Legislative Council deputy chairman Banda Prakash, MP P Dayakar, MLC S Madhusudhana Chary, district collector Bhavesh Mishra, and superintendent of police Pulla Karunakar, were present during the event.
Later, KTR participated in developmental activities in Parkal. He inaugurated the municipal office building, RDO and Tahsildar offices, and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 114 crore.
