Hyderabad: The Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, K T Rama Rao, announced that the BRS government has achieved the status of a top destination for technology investments. IT exports reached Rs 57,707 crore in just one year, surpassing the previous 27 years under other governments which were around Rs 56,000 crore.

During the Assembly monsoon session, KTR highlighted that this growth reflects the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Telangana has experienced four times the growth compared to other states. According to the Government of India, 44% of employment in the IT industry is from Telangana. In the last year alone, Telangana achieved a 33% employment growth rate according to NASSCOM.

KTR mentioned several multinational companies that have chosen Hyderabad for their investments. The current government has been able to generate more than 600,000 jobs, compared to the previous 300,000 jobs before Telangana was formed. For every direct IT job, four indirect jobs are created. This success is attributed to the stability of the government and strong leadership.
