    Hyderabad: On Friday, Minister K T Rama Rao launched the eighth batch of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Mohali. The AMPPP is a program for mid-career and senior civil servants, as well as senior professionals from the private sector. It helps these professionals understand policy dynamics and navigate their roles in both the public and private sectors.

    During the launch, KTR emphasized the importance of promoting innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive growth across states. He believes that India has great potential to become a global leader if its strengths are utilized effectively.

    The cohort for the 2023-24 batch consists of 53 participants with an average work experience of 16 years. It includes officials from various government services such as the IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, and IRS, as well as professionals from private organizations. One legislator from Telangana is also part of the cohort.
