The ‘Bharat Gaurav’ train by South Central Railway (SCR) has been very successful. The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has planned a new journey for the Bharat Gaurav tourist train from Secunderabad to Ayodhya and Kashi: Punya Kshetra Yatra, running from July 9 to 17.
The Punya Kshetra Yatra: Ayodhya-Kashi Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will start its journey from Secunderabad Railway Station on July 9. This nine-day tour will visit pilgrimage sites like Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj. Passengers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can see the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. They can also perform ancestral homage rituals in Gaya. The train will stop at multiple stations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha for boarding and deboarding.
Arun Kumar Jain, SCR’s general manager, mentioned that the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Circuit train provides a convenient way for passengers to visit important pilgrimage sites. The end-to-end services of the train save time and money for travelers.
