    Minister for Tourism Jupalli Krishna Rao has invited Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to the International Kite & Sweet Festival-2024. The festival will take place at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad from January 13 to 15.

    Jupalli Krishna Rao and Tourism department officials visited the Chief Minister at the Secretariat to deliver the invitation card.

    The State Tourism and Cultural department is organizing the International Kite and Sweet festival to promote Telangana culture, tradition, and heritage, as well as foster unity among the people.

    The festival is expected to attract around 10-15 lakh people. International kite flyers from various countries and members of national kite clubs will participate in the three-day event. The kites come in different designs and are even flown at night.

    In addition to the kites, there will be stalls offering national and international sweets. The tourism department will also set up stalls for handicrafts and handlooms, as well as organize cultural programs during the festival.
