The Congress party in Bhongir, Telangana is facing challenges as the Lok Sabha elections draw closer. Campaign strategies have not yet taken off, and internal discord is affecting the party’s prospects.

Key leaders within the Congress party are unhappy with the allocation of the Bhongir MP ticket, leading to strategic realignment. Meanwhile, BJP candidate Boora Narsaiah Goud and BRS’s Kyama Mallesh are actively campaigning and gaining momentum.

Despite Chamala Kirankumar Reddy being finalized as the Congress candidate ten days ago, he has not appeared with party leaders. Former Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s absence from the town has also caused concern.

Criticism has arisen regarding the lack of coordination among party leaders for organizing events like the Tukkuguda public meeting. Disunity within the party ranks is causing confusion.

Chamala Kirankumar Reddy, close to CM Revanth Reddy, lacks connections within the Bhongir constituency. He is relying on local MLAs for support. Despite this, he has met with ruling party MLAs and Jangaon Constituency In-charge for cooperation.

Preparatory meetings at various organizational levels have not begun, highlighting a disconnect within the Congress party in Bhongir. However, the MP candidate remains optimistic about his chances of victory, citing strong support in key constituencies like Tungaturthi and Nakrekal.

Disunity among leaders regarding mobilization for public meetings like the one in Tukkuguda reveals operational gaps. Key leaders have been absent from critical discussions and media conferences, further exacerbating the internal discord within the party.
