    The Mahabubnagar chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) is hosting a national-level Essay and Poster competition. This event is set to take place across all 17 mandals of Mahabubnagar district from January 28 to January 30, 2025. The main goal is to encourage cultural awareness among students.

    According to Dr. T. Nagender Swamy, Convenor of INTACH, invitations have been sent to over 270 government schools in the district. So far, more than 100 schools have registered for the competition. Each school is allowed to nominate two students from classes 7 to 9 to participate in the event.

    The competition will be held at centralized locations in mandal headquarters. Winners at the mandal level will be awarded a cash prize of ₹500. Additionally, all entries from Mahabubnagar will be sent to New Delhi for further evaluation in the national-level competition.

    To ensure the event runs smoothly, six INTACH teams will oversee the quiz competitions during the three-day program. A team from Delhi will handle the evaluation process to maintain fairness and transparency.

    Schools that have not yet registered have until January 25 to sign up. Interested schools can register online or call 7995008712, 9440157848, or 9440295712 for assistance.

    This annual competition is an important initiative to inspire students in Mahabubnagar to learn about and appreciate India’s rich cultural heritage.
