Lasean Watkins has been sentenced to 240 years in prison for killing four people in Indianapolis in February 2020. He was found guilty of felony murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. Watkins was also convicted of killing three men – Marcel Wills, Braxton Ford, and Jalen Roberts – and a woman, Kimari Hunt, whose bodies were found in an Indianapolis apartment. Watkins’ co-defendants Cameron Banks and Desmond Banks were each sentenced to 220 years in prison. Rodrience Anderson pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and was sentenced to 35 years with five years suspended.
According to WXIN-TV, Watkins, Cameron Banks, Desmond Banks, and Anderson ransacked the apartment and cleaned out a safe after more than 50 rounds were fired during the killings. Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said that the crime was senseless and rocked the community.
