Women voters play a significant role in the Lok Sabha elections in north Telangana, while men voters hold the power in south Telangana. Data from the Election Commission shows that nine out of 17 Lok Sabha segments in the state have more women voters than men. However, in the four segments within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, men outnumber women voters. Overall, there are 3.3 crore voters in the state, with over 1.65 crore women and 1.64 crore men, indicating a higher number of female voters.

The constituencies where women voters surpass men voters include Adilabad, Peddapally, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Zaheerabad, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, and Mahabubabad. The largest constituency in terms of voters is Malkajgiri, with 37,36,308 voters. On the other hand, the smallest constituency in terms of voters is Mahabubabad(ST) with 15,26,939 voters.

Adilabad is the largest constituency in terms of area, covering over 12,500 square km, while Hyderabad LS segment is the smallest with 78.12 square km. In the four constituencies within the city, men voters outnumber women. For example, in the Hyderabad LS seat, there are 21,97,620 voters, including 11,15,812 men and 10,81,808 women. Political analysts suggest that parties need to focus on policies that appeal to women since they play a decisive role in more than half of the 17 segments. Candidates may need to offer incentives to attract the support of female voters.
