Heavy rainfall has been forecasted for various parts of Telangana, including Hyderabad, by the India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad. An orange alert has been issued for Hyderabad, indicating the possibility of continuous heavy rain. The sky is expected to remain cloudy throughout the day, leading to water accumulation on roads and low-lying areas in the city. Authorities have warned residents about potential traffic congestion and advised caution while commuting due to wet and slippery roads. There is also a risk of trees and electric poles falling, which may disrupt electricity supply and pose safety hazards.

Apart from Hyderabad, several districts in the state are also expected to experience heavy rainfall. These districts include Warangal, Jangoan, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, and Mahabubnagar. Additionally, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Hanamkonda, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy may receive heavy rain at isolated places.
