Last week, Delhi-NCR experienced heavy monsoon rains. In fact, it broke the 41-year rainfall record for the month of July. The Meteorological Department is forecasting more rain in the upcoming week, with a yellow alert issued for July 15 and 16. Due to the heavy rainfall, temperatures have dropped. On Wednesday, there was little rain observed in Delhi, resulting in maximum and lowest temperatures of 34 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The IMD predicts rain for the next six days, with moderate to heavy rainfall expected in several areas of Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. As a result, the temperature will continue to decrease during this time.
