Chairman Ravi Singh issued a warning

Hyderabad, June 24 (Namaste Telangana): Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Sardar Ravi Singh, has warned millers who fail to deliver rice (CMR) within the specified time. On Saturday, a meeting was held at the Public Accounts Committee building with defaulting rice millers. It was reported that they informed the committee that they were unable to sell the rice provided by CMR.

Two criminal cases have already been registered against them. The committee ordered stricter action against the officials involved in the procurement from rice millers. They also highlighted the importance of farmers’ contribution to rice production and emphasized that CMR should be displayed prominently in the procurement process. The committee expressed concern over the increasing burden on the organization due to CMR.
