HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath has instructed officials to fence government lands and parks that have been reclaimed from encroachers. He also directed them to install signs declaring these areas as “Protected by HYDRAA.”

During a weekly meeting, 78 complaints were received from residents living near the Outer Ring Road (ORR). These complaints highlighted issues such as illegal occupation of roads, public spaces, drains, and water bodies. The Commissioner listened to the grievances and reviewed a presentation with maps showing the problematic areas. He assured the public that these issues would be addressed.

Ranganath announced that officials would visit the affected areas within two weeks to investigate the complaints. He also provided complainants with the contact information of relevant officials to ensure they could stay updated on progress. The Commissioner pledged to review the status of these issues within four weeks and take action against those responsible if the problems were not resolved.
