Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Development Authority (HYDRA) received 64 complaints during the Prajavani grievance redressal program held on Monday. The complaints ranged from illegal encroachments on parks and public spaces, unauthorized boundary walls blocking roads, and encroachments on plots and government lands.
HYDRA Commissioner Sri Ranganath directed officials to immediately verify complaints using Google Maps and Survey of India records and take necessary action to resolve issues. Several complaints were related to land disputes and encroachments that have remained unresolved for decades.
To ensure swift resolution, the Commissioner instructed officials to conduct field inspections within a week, hold meetings with both parties involved, and take corrective action. He also emphasized the need for maintaining proper records and historical data for cases that have been repeatedly reported.
