Hydra Commissioner Ranganath has expressed his anger over scams related to the Full Tank Level (FTL) determination at Ameenpur Pedda Cheruvu. He took serious note of complaints that some individuals were collecting money under the name of “Ameenpur Pedda Cheruvu Flood Victims – JAC.” Receipts and WhatsApp messages revealed that money was being taken from people in the name of this group.

The Commissioner warned that strict action would be taken against anyone involved in these scams. He urged victims to come forward and file complaints with the police. He also instructed officials to register cases against those participating in fraudulent activities.

Ranganath clarified that plot owners affected by the Ameenpur lake expansion do not need middlemen to resolve their issues. He assured that the government is keeping a close watch on the situation. He also explained that the FTL determination will be done by comparing village records, Survey of India data, and images from the National Remote Sensing Center, in consultation with relevant officials.

To ensure accuracy, the Commissioner announced that a special committee would be formed, including experts from JNTU and IIT colleges. This committee will complete the FTL determination within two to three months. He promised that the process would be fair and free from errors. Additionally, he warned people not to fall for scams where fraudsters claim that money is needed to save submerged plots.
