Hyderabad has been experiencing continuous heavy rains. In response to this, AV Ranganath, the Commissioner of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRA), visited the low-lying areas of the city on Sunday. His main aim was to monitor the potential risks of flash floods and areas where waterlogging could occur.

Commissioner Ranganath inspected several areas, including Shaikpet, Tolichowki, Gachibowli, Kondapur, Ameerpet, and Begumpet. These areas had experienced significant water accumulation due to the ongoing rains. During his visit, he also reviewed how well the city is prepared to handle the hazardous conditions caused by the heavy downpours.
