    A tragic accident took place on Sunday evening in Jawaharnagar when a young man went missing after falling into a quarry pit.

    The victim, 20-year-old Ethin Naidu, was a degree student from Trimulgherry. He had gone to Malkaram Hills with three friends for a photo shoot. While recording reels for his social media account, he accidentally slipped and fell into a water-filled quarry pit. Unfortunately, he drowned before his friends could help him.

    His friends immediately informed the authorities about the incident. The Jawaharnagar police quickly arrived at the scene and started a rescue operation. They also called in expert divers and Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams to assist in the search.

    Despite their efforts, the rescuers were unable to locate Ethin before nightfall. Police have confirmed that the search operation will continue on Monday.
