Woman Scammed of ₹40,000 in Fake Lehenga Offer on Instagram

The victim, Srivalli, who resides in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, spotted a lehenga on an Instagram page named Pooja Collections. Attracted by the offer, she paid ₹1,000 to place an order for the lehenga. However, after two days, the lehenga did not arrive.

When Srivalli contacted the phone number provided on the Instagram page, the scammers pretended to assist her by saying they needed to verify her account. During this process, they deceitfully withdrew ₹40,000 from her bank account.
