    Chicken prices in Hyderabad have reached a record high, which is bad news for people who like to eat chicken. Usually, chicken prices go down in the summer because it gets very hot and many chickens die. However, the demand for chicken is high in the summer because it is wedding season. Right now, skinless chicken costs Rs 310 per kilogram in the retail market. The price is even higher in slum areas. Chicken with skin costs between Rs 260 and Rs 280.

    The prices have been changing for the past two weeks. On average, 5-7 lakh kilograms of chicken are being sold every day. Last Sunday, 50 lakh kilograms of chicken were sold in Hyderabad. This information was shared by a member of the chicken dealer association.
