The Miss World 2025 beauty pageant is set to take place in Hyderabad this May. Contestants from around the world will arrive in the city on May 6 and 7 to participate in a series of events leading up to the grand finale on May 31 at Hitex.
The contestants will first land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. A grand opening ceremony will be held on May 10 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, featuring traditional Telangana folk and tribal dances to showcase the state’s rich culture.
On May 12, the participants will visit Buddhavanam, a Buddhist park in Nagarjuna Sagar. The next day, May 13, they will explore Hyderabad’s heritage with a heritage walk and later attend a welcome dinner at the historic Chowmahalla Palace.
The contestants will travel to Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, on May 14. They will also take part in a Kakatiya Heritage tour and interact with students and local communities at Kaloji Kshethram in Warangal.
On May 15, they will visit the famous Yadagirigutta temple and experience a handloom tour in Pochampally, known for its traditional weaving. The following day, May 16, they will tour major hospitals in Hyderabad as part of a medical awareness event.
The Miss World Sports Finale will take place on May 17 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Later that evening, contestants will enjoy a cultural program and a Telangana cuisine food festival at Experium Eco Tourism Park.
On May 19, the participants will visit key landmarks, including the Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre, State Secretariat, Tank Bund, and the Ambedkar statue. The continental finale, where contestants are judged within continental groups, will be held at T-Hub on May 20 and 21.
The contestants will engage in an arts and crafts workshop at Shilparamam on May 21. The Miss World Talent Finale will take place at Shilpakala Vedika on May 22, followed by the head-to-head challenge final at ISB on May 23. The Miss World Top Model and Fashion Finale will be held at Hitex on May 24, and a jewelry and pearl show will be showcased on May 25.
A gala dinner will be hosted at British Residency/Taj Falaknuma on May 26. Finally, the Miss World 2025 Grand Finale will take place on May 31 at Hitex, where the winner will be crowned. The newly crowned Miss World will meet the Governor and Chief Minister of Telangana on June 2.
This month-long event will not only celebrate beauty and talent but also highlight Telangana’s heritage, culture, and traditions on a global stage.
