The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that there will be rainfall in Hyderabad on Thursday. They have issued a yellow alert for the city, as well as for several districts in Telangana including Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem, Nirmal, Mancherial, Peddapalle, Karimnagar, J Bhupalpally, Mulugu, and Vikarabad.
According to IMD-H, all six zones of Hyderabad, namely Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally, may experience rainfall today along with thunderstorms and lightning. The Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) has also predicted light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers in isolated areas of Hyderabad.
In the last 24 hours, Keesara in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district of Telangana received the highest rainfall with 16 mm. However, there was no recorded rainfall in Hyderabad during the same time period.
