Hyderabad Startup Introduces Custom Dog Spaces with Barkitecture

A Hyderabad-based startup, SVAG Pet Homes, has launched a unique line of luxury pet products to create customized living spaces for pets, especially dogs. On Thursday, the company showcased its innovative offerings, which include designer villas, pods, and pet furniture. This marks an important step in combining pet care and modern home design.

The concept, called “Barkitecture,” was introduced by the company’s founders, Sushanth Kanneganti and Vishal Bothra, along with co-founders Gopal Varma and Anudeep Y. Barkitecture focuses on designing pet-centered spaces within homes, ensuring that pets have comfortable, safe, and personalized areas that cater to their specific needs.

The demand for such pet-oriented solutions has grown significantly, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when pet adoption surged. Many families brought pets into their homes for emotional support and companionship, increasing the need for high-quality, stylish spaces tailored to pets. SVAG Pet Homes aims to meet this demand with its innovative range of products that blend functionality with modern aesthetics.

SVAG’s product lineup includes a variety of villas, pods, and pet furniture. These items are designed to provide pets with their own dedicated spaces to rest and feel secure, while also complementing the overall look of a home. The company manufactures these products at its facility in Aramgarh, Hyderabad, catering to both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) markets.

Customers can buy these products online through the company’s website, www.barkkey.com, or on Amazon. Their pet furniture and custom dog spaces have already gained popularity in Hyderabad and are steadily attracting attention across India.

Beyond its commercial efforts, SVAG Pet Homes has also launched the Barkkey Foundation. This initiative focuses on promoting responsible pet ownership and improving the lives of street dogs. A portion of the company’s profits will go toward caring for ten street dogs, and the foundation is actively seeking volunteers to help with its mission. Through this program, SVAG aims to make a meaningful contribution to animal welfare while encouraging compassion for stray animals.
