**Hyderabad:** Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) has received Rs 2 lakh in funding from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for a three-day event called the ‘VAANI Workshop.’ The workshop started on July 18 and focuses on new communication technologies.
The opening ceremony was attended by several important guests, including Mohammed Ibrahim Ali Siddiqui, a member of the Board of Governors, and Dr. Anupama Koneru, principal of SUCP. Other attendees included Dr. Lakshmi Rawat, Dr. Ayesha Naaz, Dr. Salma Fauzia, and Maliha Naaz.
Hosted by the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department, the workshop will run until July 20. It is part of AICTE’s initiative called VAANI (Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages) and will cover topics such as 5G and 6G technologies, smart sensors, the Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, and flexible electronics.
The VAANI workshop aims to provide a valuable platform for teachers, researchers, and industry experts to learn from leading professionals. Participants will take part in interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and discussions with innovators in these important fields.
