Hyderabad: Under Operation Nanhe Farishte, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Secunderabad rescued two children on Friday.

According to RPF officials, one child was from Rajasthan and the other from Jharkhand. Both children had run away from home after having arguments with their parents.

During routine checks at the Secunderabad railway station, the RPF team found the two 15-year-olds wandering aimlessly. They detained the children for their safety.

Upon inquiry, it was discovered that both the boy from Rajasthan and the girl from Jharkhand had left their homes without informing their parents. Their reasons for leaving were minor disagreements with their families.

The RPF then contacted Child Welfare authorities and handed over the children to them for safe custody. A senior RPF official mentioned that Operation Nanhe Farishte is conducted across trains and railway premises to ensure a safe and secure environment for children.
