The ‘Dial Your MD’ program by the HMWSSB resumed on Saturday, but some locals had trouble connecting their calls. RWAs have asked for the program to be extended from one and a half hours to two and a half hours.

The HMWSSB restarted the ‘Dial Your MD’ program to hear customer complaints directly. Before the pandemic, this program was held monthly at the HMWSSB head office. It was stopped in 2021 for various reasons.

On the first day, MD Sudarshan Reddy answered 36 calls about water supply, contamination, low pressure, sewage overflow, and leaks. The program will now run every 15 days.
