    People in Hyderabad are celebrating the Holi festival in Twin Cities. The youth are getting involved in the festivities from early in the morning. During Holi, people of all ages come together to enjoy the colorful festival by putting colors on each other. The whole city is now filled with a variety of colors as families, friends, and relatives celebrate together. Holi events are also taking place in Secunderabad, Gachibowli, Hi-Tech City, and People’s Plaza.

    Organizers of these events are providing support with DJs and cultural programs to enhance the celebrations. The Holi celebrations of Baldia workers were held under GHMC’s guidance at Tarnaka, Secunderabad, with Deputy Mayor Srilata Shobhan Reddy taking part in the festivities. Additionally, some parts of the city also celebrated Holi on Sunday.

    Every year, the Holi festival is celebrated on the full moon day of Falguna, also known as Holika Purnima. The excitement for Holi is building up across the country. On Sunday night, the Kama Dahana program was conducted grandly. It is a tradition to burn Kamudi on the eve of Holi, with Valmiki caste people performing this burning ceremony in a grand manner as part of their rituals.
