The police used drug kits to test nine individuals at Xora Bar & Kitchen, and three of them tested positive for drug use. Legal action is being taken against these four individuals, according to a senior TGANB official.

Another pub, Olive Bistro in Durgam Cheruvu, was also raided by the police. However, no traces of drugs were found there.

Two weeks ago, the police had raided the Cave Pub and arrested 24 people who tested positive for drugs. The pub was seized, and two owners were arrested in connection with the case.

The TGANB is dedicated to curbing drug abuse and maintaining public safety through a series of strategic operations and continuous surveillance. Their approach combines human intelligence (Humint) and technical intelligence (Techint), leading to significant results in recent months and creating fear among drug peddlers.

Their mission includes continuous surveillance on pubs, ensuring drug-free educational institutions, increased vigilance in top institutions, anti-drug committees (ADCs), monitoring DJs and events, pub regulations and management accountability, community responsibility, and focusing on both big suppliers and small consumers.

The combined efforts of the police and TGANB have instilled a significant level of fear among drug peddlers and abusers. They remain committed to eradicating drug abuse and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community, according to the official.
