The City Cyber Crimes police in Hyderabad have issued a warning to internet users about possible harmful software that may target them on January 22nd. They have advised smartphone users to avoid opening suspicious web links.

According to a post on a platform called X, the police have cautioned that on the day of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir, there is a possibility of receiving messages with web links that could be dangerous. These messages may claim to contain “live photos of Ayodhya” or something similar. It is important not to open these links, as doing so could result in your phone being hacked and your bank accounts being robbed.

The police are urging people to spread this message, especially to senior citizens who are often seen as easy targets. It is essential to stay safe and not open any suspicious links.
