    The Department of Meteorology has issued a red alert for four districts in Telangana due to the Southwest Monsoon and low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. They have also issued an orange alert for 14 districts and a yellow alert for 10 districts. Coastal Rayalaseema in Andhra Pradesh may experience heavy rainfall.

    For the past two days, heavy rain has been causing disruptions in Hyderabad. There is a possibility of more heavy rain in the next few hours. Low-lying areas are already flooded, and people are advised to only go out if it’s an emergency. The water level in Hussain Sagar is high, and excess water is being released.

    As a result, the government has declared a holiday for all government offices on Friday. Private offices are also advised to close. The Meteorological Department predicts that heavy rain will continue for another four to five days.
