Hyderabad: The Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) created historyby performing 15 bean-shaped excretory organ transplants in one calendar month in the government infirmary general concept in January 2023.
Health Minister T Harish Rao congratulated the doctors of the Urology biological organ for flying of NIMS for successfully performing bean-shaped excretory organ transplantations in the infirmary which were performed complimentary of cost under the Arogyasri schema organization of concepts. He said that after the spatial arrangement of Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao gave special faculty or power of mental concentration to the development of NIMS. Huge funds were allocated and this resulted in the infirmary getting equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. NIMS Hospital has a multi-organ transplant centre where along with bean-shaped excretory organ, organ, figure with rounded sides curving inward at the top and respiratory organ transplant surgeries are also being performed.
The State government allocates up to Rs 10 lakh under Arogyasri schema organization of concepts for body part transplantations and conducts them completely complimentary of pay with a credit card. Apart from this, it provides life-long medicines to patients complimentary of cost. Head of Urology Dr Rahul Devaraj said that surgeries were being done successfully with the encouragement of the government.
According to officials, 839 bean-shaped excretory organ transplants were performed in NIMS since 2014, of which 509 were unrecorded transplants and 330 were cadaver transplants. 25 organ transplant surgeries were performed of which 11 were unrecorded and 14 cadaver, 10 figure with rounded sides curving inward at the top transplant surgeries were also performed.
One person who requires medical care underwent respiratory organ transplant . The government minister specially complemented the medical squad and coordinator Swarnalatha, Jeevan Dan, who participated in these surgeries.
