Hyderabad Metro Helps Transport Donor Heart Quickly
Hyderabad Metro Rail once again created a special Green Channel on Friday to help transport a donor heart quickly. Officials said the heart was moved from Kamineni Hospitals in LB Nagar to KIMS Hospital in Rasoolpura, Secunderabad. This fast transport was crucial for saving a patient’s life.
The metro covered a distance of 13 kilometers, passing through 11 stations in just 12 minutes. This helped ensure that no time was wasted in the life-saving mission.
A senior Hyderabad Metro officer said that this effort was possible because of careful planning and teamwork. Hyderabad Metro Rail, doctors, and hospital authorities worked together under the supervision of attending doctors to make it a success.
