Hyderabad: All 57 metro stations in Hyderabad, including those on the red, blue, and green line corridors, have been awarded the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Green Existing MRTS Platinum certification. This was announced by L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad (L&TMRHL) on Tuesday.

The IGBC Platinum certification is the highest level of recognition for sustainable construction and operations. Metro officials explained that this certification highlights L&TMRHL’s dedication to energy efficiency, eco-friendly design, and conserving resources. The certification was presented to L&TMRHL during the Green Building Congress 2024 event, which took place recently in Bengaluru.
