    A tragic incident occurred in SR Naik Nagar, Quthbullapur, on Sunday night, where a 40-year-old man lost his life after falling from a multi-storied building.

    The man, identified as K. Ramanaiah, was a private employee. According to police, he is believed to have gone to the terrace of the building to smoke a cigarette. Unfortunately, he slipped and fell from the terrace.

    Ramanaiah landed on granite stones on the ground, sustaining severe injuries that led to his death on the spot. The incident resulted in grievous bleeding injuries, leaving no chance for survival.

    The Jeedimetla police have taken up the case and are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall. Further details are awaited.
