    Governors, Union ministers, State ministers, and leaders from various political parties attended the cultural event ‘Alai Balai’ organized by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya in Hyderabad. The event, which has been taking place for 17 years, brings together leaders from different parties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a message appreciating the efforts of Dattatraya and congratulating the people of Telangana on the occasion.

    The ‘Alai Balai’ festival celebrates the diverse aspects of Telangana’s vibrant culture and serves as a bond of cultural and spiritual unity for the people. It also showcases the Indian ethos. The festival includes food and cultural events that depict Telangana’s history and rich culture.

    The event also promotes folk arts, including drums from Kerala. Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy, Meenakshi Lekhi, and V Muraleedharan highlighted the importance of the festival in bringing together people of different cultures and traditions.

    Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav praised ‘Alai Balai’ for showcasing Telangana’s rich culture and traditions. He commended Dattatreya for starting the program in 2005 and organizing it every year. Celebrities from other states have also been invited to learn about Telangana’s culture.
