The first fire broke out at Monda Market in Secunderabad, inside a shop selling pooja items. The flames quickly spread to four neighboring shops, including those selling plastic goods. Due to the presence of highly flammable materials, the fire escalated rapidly, creating panic among locals. Firefighters were called to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze. As a safety measure, nearby shops were temporarily closed by the authorities. Although the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials suspect it may have been triggered by a short circuit.

The second fire occurred at Super Furniture Works, located opposite Old Eidgah Madannapet. The fire spread across three adjoining shops in the workshop. Upon receiving the alert, fire tenders from Malakpet, Chandrayangutta, Musheerabad, and Moghalpura were dispatched to the location. Teams from the Disaster Response Force (DRF) and local police also arrived to assist in the firefighting efforts.

As the shutters of the shops were locked, DRF personnel had to break them open using crowbars and cutters to access the fire. The operation lasted for around three hours before the fire was brought under control. Locals reported hearing a loud noise before noticing flames at the site. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

These incidents have raised concerns about fire safety in commercial areas, and investigations into both cases are ongoing.
