    Hyderabad | City Bureau: The conclusion of the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations was marked with enthusiasm. Remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the formation of Telangana State, Chief Minister KCR inaugurated the Amara Veerula Smaraka Stupa in Hyderabad on Thursday evening. Subsequently, tributes were paid to the martyrs. This occasion witnessed the inauguration of tank bunds with the display of flower arrangements, bonfires, and performances by artists. As part of the memorial day celebrations, approximately 6 artists were awarded and showcased their performances. Following this, a rally was conducted from the Ambedkar statue to the memorial symbol. During this rally, children dressed as Amara Veerulu created a festive atmosphere. Ministers Sri Nivas Goud, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and dancers participated in the event.

    To commemorate this event, bike rallies were organized from different parts of Hyderabad. Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, various corporation chairpersons, and corporate representatives led massive bike rallies from their respective regions. In this context, the main roads in Greater Hyderabad were decorated with floral arches. The bike rallies were adorned with pink flags and images of the martyrs to pay homage to them. Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav from Sanathnagar constituency, Maganti Gopinath from Jubilee Hills, Danam Nagender from Khairatabad, Kalvakuntla Vamshi from Amberpet, Madhavaram Krishna Rao from Kukatpally, Gandhi from Sherilingampally, and Nandkishore Vyas from Goshamahal constituency participated in the rally along with party workers. They rode bikes from Goshmahal to Tank Bund. The MLCs and poets of the MLC category joined them and paid tributes to the martyrs before riding on the bikes towards Tank Bund. On this occasion, the main thoroughfares of Hyderabad reverberated with the chants of “Jai Telangana”.
