The war of words between BRS and Congress over the Dharani portal has now shifted to the issue of free power. Congress claims that 24 hours of free power is not being provided anywhere, while BRS plans to hold Rytu Vedikas for ten days to address this issue.

BRS will approach farmers with the message that voting for Congress means only three hours of power for three crops. They will hold meetings with farmers to discuss if they are receiving 24×7 free power or not. They will explain that if Congress comes to power, the unique program of 24-hour power will be limited to three hours a day.

BRS leaders believe that simply arguing with Congress will not be effective and plan to confront them in the ‘Praja Darbar’. They will also demand an apology from Congress for insulting farmers.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao has called on party leaders to discuss this issue in every village. He wants to expose Congress’s true colors and ask farmers if three hours of power is sufficient for them. BRS is dedicated to the development of farmers and the agriculture sector, and has taken measures to improve the lives of 70 lakh farmers.

Rama Rao also highlighted Revanth’s anti-farmer remarks, reflecting what former party president N Chandrababu Naidu had said in 2001. He urged farmers to recognize that Congress is similar to Telugu Desam Congress and Chandrababu Congress.

Rama Rao instructed party leaders to ensure at least 1,000 farmers attend each Rythu Vedika meeting, and directed party MLAs to organize these meetings.
