Hyderabad and nearby areas are currently facing a cold wave, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures across Telangana. Adilabad has recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 9.7 degrees Celsius, making it one of the coldest places in the region.
Several other districts are also feeling the chill. Medak reported a minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius, while Patancheru recorded 12.2 degrees. Hanumakonda’s minimum temperature dropped to 13.5 degrees Celsius, and Ramagundam recorded 13.8 degrees. In Nizamabad, the temperature dipped to 14.3 degrees Celsius, marking the arrival of cooler winter nights.
The sudden drop in temperatures is due to clear skies and current weather patterns. The Meteorological Department has warned residents to expect even colder nights in the coming days. They have also advised people to take precautions, especially vulnerable groups like children and the elderly.
Authorities have suggested limiting outdoor activities during late-night and early-morning hours to avoid health problems caused by the cold weather. Residents are encouraged to stay warm and take necessary steps to protect themselves.
