Two people, a man and a woman, have been arrested for a murder that occurred in June. The suspects are K Eeshwarama, a 40-year-old man, and M Srinivas, a 35-year-old woman. Both of them are laborers from Sangareddy district.

The victim, K Thukkappa, was also a laborer from Sangareddy district and was married to Eeshwaramma. However, a few years ago, Eeshwaramma became involved with Srinivas and they developed a relationship. Thukkappa noticed their closeness and warned Eeshwaramma about it.

In response, Eeshwaramma informed Srinivas about Thukkappa’s warning, and they decided to kill him. On June 22, Eeshwaramma took Thukkappa to Ghatkesar on the pretext of going to the hospital. There, they purchased pesticide and mixed it with beer, which they offered to Thukkappa. He consumed it and fell unconscious.

The police found Thukkappa in an unconscious state and took him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he passed away two days later. Since nobody claimed the body after the post-mortem examination, the police performed the final rites.

Recently, a relative of Thukkappa visited the Ghatkesar police station to inquire about the case. After confirming the man’s identity, the police questioned Eeshwaramma, who eventually admitted to killing Thukkappa with the help of Srinivas.

Both Eeshwaramma and Srinivas were presented before the court and remanded in custody.
