A Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair will be held at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally, Hyderabad, from November 7 to 10. This event is being organised by the Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation (HSSF) in collaboration with the Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training Foundation.

At a press conference, M Chandrashekhar, a member of the Exhibition Society, and K Sreekanth Reddy Rammurthy, a representative of the event, explained the purpose of the fair. They said that the HSSF organises these fairs to showcase the service activities of various Hindu spiritual and community organisations. These organisations not only serve society but also promote the importance of dharmic consciousness—a sense of duty and righteousness.

The theme of the fair is based on the Rig Vedic principle, “Athmano Mokshartham Jagat Hitayacha,” which means “Service to Humanity as the Way to Attain Moksha (spiritual liberation).” The fair encourages people to believe that doing good deeds leads to a noble life, even beyond death.

The services showcased by the participating organisations are divided into six main themes. The HSSF has organised similar fairs in many other Indian cities, including Chennai, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Indore, Mumbai, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, and Ranchi.

The event will focus on teaching human values to school-going children. Each day, about 5,000 students are expected to attend the fair, along with around 1,000 school staff and correspondents.

More than 120 spiritual and community service organisations have registered to participate in the fair. They will display information about the services they provide to society. The fair will be inaugurated by Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami, along with Swami Shitikanthananda from the Ramakrishna Mission and former AP Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam.
