    62nd Home Guard Raising Day Celebrated in Nagarkurnool

    The 62nd Home Guard Raising Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Police Parade Ground in Nagarkurnool district headquarters. District Superintendent of Police (SP) Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath was the chief guest at the event and received a ceremonial salute from the Home Guards.

    During his address, SP Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath praised the dedication and professionalism of the Home Guards in the district. He highlighted that there have been no complaints against them so far, a testament to their excellent conduct. The SP assured the Home Guards that any issues or grievances they face would be resolved quickly and effectively.

    As part of the celebrations, the SP participated in a ceremonial cake-cutting and personally accepted grievances from the Home Guards. He promised to address their concerns promptly and ensure their welfare.

    The event was attended by several prominent officials, including RI Jagan, Nagarkurnool CI Kanakayya, RSIs Prashanth Kalyan and Shivaji. Leaders from the Home Guards’ Association, such as President Jammulu and Vice President Rajamallu, were also present. Around 150 Home Guards participated in the celebrations, making the occasion memorable.
