Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Water Board held a Zoom meeting on Tuesday to discuss issues related to water tanker deliveries.

During the meeting, Managing Director Ashok Reddy explained that the recent string of holidays caused some tanker drivers to take time off. Because of this, there were delays in water tanker deliveries in some areas. While the number of bookings remained about the same, the shortage of drivers led to a backlog of over 100 tankers waiting at several filling stations.
