Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Managing Director Sudarshan Reddy conducted a surprise inspection of several tanker filling stations within the Water Board’s jurisdiction. The inspection included stations in Jubilee Hills, Venkatagiri, and Kondapur. Officials were questioned about tanker booking and delivery details, including booking hours and delivery start times. The MD instructed officials to reduce backlog and urged local authorities to work within their capacity. To handle the increase in bookings, it was recommended that centers with pending deliveries should have adequate staff working in two shifts.

During the inspection, the functionality of CCTV cameras at the filling stations was verified. A senior officer confirmed that all station cameras are connected to the head office and are regularly monitored.
