Special Rituals for Ayodhya Yantra at Jogulamba Temple, Alampur
A significant event took place at the Jogulamba Temple in Alampur, Gadwal district. The 500-year-old Sri Rama Yantra, which is set to be installed in the Ayodhya temple, was honored at this famous temple. Jogulamba Temple is known as the fifth Shakti Peeth, a sacred place for worship. The Sri Rama Yantra was brought in a chariot from Kanchi to Ayodhya for this special occasion.
BJP leaders from Gadwal district gathered to welcome the chariot carrying the sacred yantra. Temple priests conducted special rituals to show reverence for this holy object.
BJP district president Ramachandra Reddy honored Sri Ramachandran, who is the religious ambassador of Northern India from Kanchi Peeth. Along with him, Yantra Priest Shivaram, who was also accompanying the chariot, was given special respect.
This Sri Rama Yantra is a newly created version based on a 500-year-old design. The original yantra was destroyed in Ayodhya, and the blueprint was preserved at Kanchi Peeth. Under the guidance of Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati, the head of Kanchi Peeth, a new yantra was created, and it is now being taken to Ayodhya. After a 45-day journey, the yantra will be installed in the Ram Temple sanctum in Ayodhya following a grand ritual known as “Sahasra Chandi.”
This event is considered a historic and spiritual moment, especially in Ayodhya’s religious history, as it fulfills a long-awaited dream of many devotees.
Several prominent figures attended the event, including BJP district president Ramachandra Reddy, BJP spokesperson Rajagopal, BJYM state vice-president Rajasekhar Sharma, and other members like Nagamallayya, Nageshwar Reddy, and Eshwar. Local leaders such as Alampur mandal president Jagan Mohan Reddy, town president Nagamaddileti, and BJP leaders Madhuravani, Rangaswami, and Sudhakar Yadav were also present. Priests Vikrant Sharma, Janakiram, Prithvi, and many devotees participated in the special rituals.
