Hyderabad, January 31, 2025 – In a major boost to India’s high-speed rail network, the government has initiated the process for developing an elevated rail corridor connecting key cities across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

The proposed high-speed rail corridors will connect:

LandSeeker

– Hyderabad – Bengaluru (626 km)

– Hyderabad – Chennai (705 km)

Speed and Features

The rail corridor is designed for ultra-fast travel with:

– Design Speed: 350 kmph

– Operational Speed: 320 kmph

This ambitious project aims to revolutionize connectivity between the three southern states, drastically reducing travel time between Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The corridor will offer a faster, more efficient alternative to road and air travel, improving trade, business, and tourism.

Tender Process Initiated

The government has officially called for tenders for Final Location Survey (FLS), cost estimation, and feasibility studies. This marks a crucial step toward the realization of this futuristic transportation network.
