The Division Bench in Hyderabad, consisting of Chief Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice Jukanti Anil Kumar, heard a group of PILs and writ petitions regarding the Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project. These petitions asked for a CBI investigation into alleged illegal activities by the previous BRS government during construction.

The CBI’s representative informed the court that they had submitted their response to the petitions. One of the petitioners, Bakka Judson, announced their intention to withdraw their petition due to an ongoing judicial probe into the matter.

The court is focusing on investigating the alleged irregularities surrounding the Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project.
